Job profile

Our core competency: Podiatrist

Podiatrists focus on their patients’ health and mobility by looking after their feet – one of the most important but often neglected parts of the body. This profession combines medical knowledge with manual dexterity. Whether treating painful foot problems such as corns or ingrown nails, or when treating higher-risk groups such as diabetics – you help people live their day-to-day lives without pain, and give them back their quality of life.

Our top 4 benefits

We pay in 2/3 of the pension fund contributions. This means less expense for you and a higher pension after retirement. You therefore save in the long term and ensure a better financial future for yourself. This support considerably boosts your pension provision.

As well as full-time positions, we also offer attractive part-time working models. This allows you to combine your job and home life more flexibly. You can thus arrange your working hours to suit your needs and enjoy a better work-life balance.

You have 5 weeks of paid leave – rising to 6 weeks at management level. This means more time to relax and enjoy your individual interests, allowing you to switch off, reduce stress and return to work refreshed. More paid leave makes for a balanced, happy life.

In addition to around 600 internal training courses that are open to all Coop employees, per piedi also supports employees wishing to qualify as a certified podiatrist HF. This three-year course opens up numerous new career levels such as specialization or senior positions. A comprehensive training programme to acquire different techniques enables our podiatrists to expand and deepen their specialist knowledge.
